1. Wherever CGPA/OGPA/DGPA or Letter Grade in a degree / diploma is awarded, its equivalent percentage of marks must be indicated in the application form as per norms adopted by University / Institute.
   
   
2. Candidates presently employed in Govt. Deptt. / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies should first apply through Online Application Form. The printout of the Application Form must be forwarded through proper channel to Post Box as specified above. Such candidates will also be required to submit NOC at the time of interview.
   
   
3. Candidature of an applicant not found to be meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria shall be rejected at any stage of the selection process.
   
   
4. Registered Acknowledgement Slip with self attested photo and signature should not have any enclosure except the demand draft, and SC/ST/OBC (creamy layer)/PWD certificates as applicable.
   
   
5. Application fee is RS. 100/- BANK DRAFT ONLY in favour of ‘ DGOF, payable at Kolkata. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH(PC) are exempted from paying bank draft.
   
   
6. Indian Ordnance Factories Board shall not be responsible for any postal delay/loss in transit. No request in this regard will be entertained. 
   
   
7. Only original Registered Acknowledgement Slip shall be accepted.
   
   
8. Candidates should retain a photocopy of Acknowledgement Slip and demand draft of Application fees for future reference.

INVALID CANDIDATURE:

              Candidature of applicants, with the following type of discrepancies, will be treated as invalid and rejected without any intimation to the candidates:

1. Acknowledgement Slip without demand draft of application fees for other than SC/ST/PH(PC) candidates.
   
   
2. Acknowledgement Slip without self-attested copy of caste/disability certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates strictly as per format given in Annexure C .
   
   
3. Do not possess the prescribed qualification for the post.
   
   
4. Overaged or Date of Birth not filled or wrongly filled.
   
   
5. Envelope superscribing “ RECRUITMENT OF CHARGEMAN” not properly stamped.
   
   
6. Tampering or overwriting of Acknowledgement Slip.
   
   
7. Not sending exact amount of Application fees in demand draft.
   
   
8. Applications not in conformity with the given proforma/specifications.
   

NOTE:

1. Depending on the requirement, the Organisation reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge/curtail the recruitment process as well as the number of positions keeping in view the Organisation’s needs without further notice and without assigning any reasons thereof.
   
   
2. Candidates are advised to ensure while applying that they fulfill the eligibility criteria and other requirements mentioned in this advertisement and that the particulars furnished by them are correct in all respects.
   
   
3. The Company reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason thereof.
   
   
4. Indian Ordnance Factories Board reserves the right to reschedule the test date, venue etc depending upon the circumstances and the candidates are bound by the same.
   
   
5. The decision of Indian Ordnance Factories Board in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance, rejection of the application, issue of call letters, mode of selection, conduct of written examination, allotment of exam centres, group discussion, interview, verification of testimonials and selection will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this connection.
   
   
6. Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidature.
